Hello Ernie, I hope this email finds you, Michael and the rest of the family in great spirits. I am doing well myself.
Ernie I have a favor to ask and realize that it may not be possible. However know that I am asking from the most humble space in my soul. Here goes; Chicago bears playing against Falcons 10/12 Sunday. My husband is a Bears fans by birth and for life and of course Falcons by relocation, but Falcons is second only to the Bears. Each and every time the two team have meet in Atlanta my husband has always made a way for our family to attend theses games, even if it’s just nose bleed. This year it will not be possible…he will not be able to physically attend the game.
You see Ernie we found out in late May that he has stage IV lung cancer with mets to them brain. The doctor has said that he may have 2 months left. Ernie what I am asking to get done for him is to have the broadcaster mention his name and maybe ask all BEARS/FAlCONS fans to say a little prayer for him. He has worked as a concierge at Mathieson Lofts for the past 12 years and all of the residents know he is a due hard Bears fan n a Falcons fan.
I have tried the Bears n Falcons fan club, they have told me it’s not allowed. As I have mentioned above, I am humbly asking you to see if you have any connection to have Martin Richards SR. hear his name mention during this game. If you are able to do this I will be forever grateful, but if not I understand. Regardless I appreciate your time and effort.
