While covering the golf beat, I sat through numerous press conferences in which Gary Player discussed his conditioning. Now we all can see what he was talking about.

The 77-year-old is featured in the upcoming ESPN Magazine’s 2013 body issue. Pretty remarkable.

  1. I’ve alsways been an admirer of Gary Player. I often said there’s no one with whom I’d rather play a round of golf.
    That said, I much enjoyed the pics of Suzanne Petterson much more.

  2. I had lunch with Gary 4 years ago. He oozes class. I tried to get his opinions of different players on tour. Not a negative word was spoken.
    Great guy!
