Matthew Futterman and Shalini Ramachandran got everyone buzzing last night with a Wall Street Journal report that the NFL is thinking about adding another game on Thursday nights.

Goes without saying, a horrible idea on many levels.

Well, the NFL came out with a strong denial this morning.

And it shouldn’t be considered. Last thing NFL needs is more Thursday night games.
