Sherman’s book was our book club book of the month for February and even into March for a couple of extra weeks. Sherman explains why he decided to write a book about this specific topic, talks about the challenge of writing about a story that happened 80 years ago, and describes reviewing the films that exist about the historic event. Sherman wouldn’t tip his hand as to what conclusion he has come to after writing the book but talks about the opinions of Tom Verducci, Keith Olbermann and Bob Costas.
