Vin Scully doesn’t miss a beat during earthquake in Dodgers telecast

Maybe when you’re 86 and been forever, a little thing like an earthquake occurring a Dodgers game isn’t much of a distraction.

The great Vin Scully continued to call the strikes while the earth shook last night in LA.

  1. Thanks for posting that. I really miss that guy doing national games. He even makes an earthquake sound tranquil.

Takes me back 40 years, laying on a couch on a Sat. afternoon in the summer, and waking up from a nice nap to watch the end of a reg. season game that somehow seemed more important than it really was.

  2. Amazing that at age 86 Vin still had a solid, smooth delivery in his voice. There’s a difference from 40 years ago to be sure, but it still sounds very good all things considered.
